Japanese people live on a staple diet of rice and vegetables. staple diet; the food that you normally eat でももしかしたら日本で言うところの「主食、副食」という考え方に影響されて ' Japanese staple diet is rice. 英語の定義は何日か前の、ただの ' diet ' の意味 ( the kind of food that someone eats each day ) とよく似ています。 Japanese diet is thought to be healthy. ( healthier than other ones ) It is important to have a balanced, healthy diet. 例えば30、40年前なら ' English staple diet is potatoes.
